Reciprocity

Kelvin Grove -
A reciprocity Agreement was negotiated with Kelvin Grove ("Kelvin") and has generally been well received both at our Club and at Kelvin. The arrangement is on a trial basis for a period of one year and enables members of one Club to use the facilities of the other with certain limitations. In this regard, Kelvin members will have full use of all Mowbray's facilities; will be entitled to play at any time on its course at members' guest rates prevailing from time to time but subject always to availability and to the booking of tee times as prescribed by Mowbray. The Kelvin Golf Society will be able to make advance block bookings for eight 4-ball tee times for their Sunday outings once a month at a very reasonable price throughout the year except during Mowbray's overseas visitors period (December to March - both months inclusive). Mowbray members in turn will have full use of Kelvin's restaurants and bars on a cash or credit card basis only; will have to fit in with Kelvin's individual sporting code 'rules; and will have limitations on bookings for their tennis and squash courts. The Fitness Centre will not be available for the use of Mowbray members nor will Kelvin's parking facilities be available for them on major sporting days at the Newlands stadia. The initial trial period will end on 30 April 2008.
